Building Skills, Confidence & a Love for Tennis
Our Kids Tennis Program is designed to help every child grow through the game — no matter their age, starting point or confidence level. With a clear blend of skill development, fun and structured tennis training, our program gives children the foundation they need to enjoy the sport, improve quickly and feel proud of their progress.

Fountain Gate Tennis Club is stepping into an exciting new chapter. With a full clubhouse redevelopment underway, the club is being transformed into a modern, welcoming space that will serve our community for generations. New toilets, lockers, a refreshed main club area, updated landscaping and an inviting new entrance are all part of the upgrade.
Alongside this, the club will receive brand-new court lighting, an improved Book-A-Court system for casual play, and refreshed court surfaces. These improvements reflect the council’s commitment to making FGTC a central hub for tennis in the south-east.
We’re excited for what’s ahead — world-class coaching, upgraded facilities and future plans that position Fountain Gate Tennis Club as the leading destination for tennis in the region. A fresh era is coming, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Kids can start from 3–4 years old. Our programs are designed to meet them gently at their stage, building confidence through fun, movement and play..
Not at all. We welcome complete beginners through to advanced young athletes.
Comfortable clothing, runners, a water bottle and a positive attitude. If they don’t have a racquet yet, we’ll happily supply one to get them started.
We keep our groups intentionally small to ensure every child feels supported.
• Red Ball: max 4 players per coach
• Orange / Green / Yellow Ball: max 6 players per coach
Regular term lessons pause, but we often run holiday clinics and special programs to keep kids active and progressing. We will send you a notification via email or text for any upcoming holiday programs etc.
We create a calm, inclusive environment where every child is met with patience, understanding and encouragement. They’re supported to settle in at their own pace.
Families are notified early of any weather changes. Make-up sessions are offered so no one misses out. You can also log onto the portal and then use your make up token to book you/your child into another lesson so you stay consistent all year round
Absolutely. You’re welcome to stay, support and enjoy the energy of the session. We just remind parents to remain outside of the court so the players can focus and fully participate in the lesson
